The Center for Vietnam S&T Internationalization Promotion welcomes and works with the Osada Photonics International of Japan

On 5^th and 9^th January 2018, The Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Internationalization Promotion held on two meeting between the Osada Photonics International of Japan and Center for Laser Technology (NACENLAS) – National Center for Technology Progress and with the University of Nguyen Trai in Hanoi.

Participating at the meeting between VISTIP, OPI and NACENLAS, there are Mr. Bui Quy Long – General Director of VISTIP, Mr.Osada – Chairman of OPI, PhD. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Vice director of NACENLAS. At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh has presented some outstanding achievements in laser technology, especially in the field of health care. Besides, NACENLAS also researchs, designs and manufactures devices which can replace foreign devices such as laser engraving machine system, high-power laser cutting stainless steel according to complex deformation…Listening to NACENLAS, Mr.Osada also introduced new techologies of OPI applied in 2D and 3D printing, new technologies in industrial lasers applied infrared, ultraviolet, UV laser engraving technologies to create surface micro-holes for electronic circuits; the new laser technology printing employee card and citizen identification, laser cutting metal technology….As the role of connecting and consulting for the both sides, VISTIP has supporting two sides to discussions which can lead to opportunities of cooperations, technology transfer and commercialization of research results in the near futures.

NACENLAS introduces their technologies

On 9^th January 2018, VISTIP arranged a meeting between OPI and the University of Nguyen Trai. Participants of the meeting include Ms. Bui Thi Huy Hop – Deputy director of VISTIP, PhD. Nguyen Tien Luan – Principal of the University of Nguyen Trai, Ms. Tran Thi Lan – Chief of department of foreign affairs of the University of Nguyen Trai. At the meeting, Mr. Osada presented his own experience as well as OPI’s experience in technology development, technology transfer, technology application especially high technology of laser…Mr. Nguyen Tien Luan also shared desire of the university in the field of high technology, start-up, innovation related to the Industry 4.0, also would like to expand the training scale, discipline, promote human resource exportation. In addition, the University of Nguyen Trai also discussed some plans which could be cooperated with OPI under the consultation of VISTIP.

On the afternoon of the same day, OPI and VISTIP had a summing – up meeting to review the two previous meetings with NACENLAS and the University of Nguyen Trai. Mr. Osada appreciated the support of VISTIP during the days. The two side would keep contact and have deeper discussions of collaboration opportunities.
