Pursuing the teaching of the President Ho Chi Minh: “Emulation and reward are the driving force for development and are important measures to build new people. Patriotic emulation must be conducted regularly and continuously every day “and thoroughly grasp the State management documents on emulation and commendation work, the Ministry of Science and Technology solemnly celebrated the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s call for patriotic emulation – the traditional patriotic emulation day (11/6 / 1948-11 / 6/2018) on June 7th 2018 in Hanoi.
The ceremony had attendances of Ms. Tran Thi Ha, Vice Minister of Home Affairs, Head of the Central Commission for Emulation and Reward; Representatives of ministries and sectors in the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Ha Noi national university; The Vietnam Socialist Academy, the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, the Vietnam Television, the Voice of Vietnam and the Vietnam News Agency. From the Ministry of Science and Technology, there were the participants of Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Science and Technology; Mr. Tran Quoc Khanh, Member of the Board of Management, First Vice Chairman of the Council of Emulation and Reward (MPI) Ministry of Science and Technology; Representative of the Party Standing Committee; Representative of Trade Union Standing Committee; Representative of the Standing Board of Youth Union; the heads of units under the Ministry; and especially the presences of individuals who wins the title of national emulation officer and 300 other representatives from the Ministry of Science and Technology.
In the opening remark, Mr. Tran Quoc Khanh – Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology affirmed that the work of emulation and reward in general and in particular has a very important position, role and meaning, to encourage staffs of S&T to bring talents, strength and intellect to contribute to the research and creative activities of science and technology, serving the socio-economic development and national defense.
Mr. Le Xuan Dinh, Director of Planning and Finance Department, Member of the Standing Committee of the Electricity of Vietnam, announced the decision Awarding emulation titles and forms of rewarding at the State level and the Ministry of Science and Technology level, including the awarding of the Labor Medal, the title of the National Emulation Officer and the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; The reward decision of the Minister of Science and Technology on awarding emulation flags and certificates of merit to units and individual. The ceremony also honored 10 individuals who were awarded the title of National Emulation Officer through the congress of emulation in the past period.
Accordingly, the Center for Vietnam S&T Intertnationalization Promotion is honored to receive the emulation flag of the Ministry of Science and Technology for its achievements in work. This also shows the interest and recognition of leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology for their efforts to overcome all difficulties to achieve achievements in all aspects of the Center in 2017

At this celebration, Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh launched the emulation movement in the entire Ministry of Science and Technology (2018-2020) and called on all civil servants , staffs in the entire Ministry of Science and Technology to unite, innovate, overcome all difficulties and challenges, fulfill their assigned tasks, contribute to develop science and technology faster, stronger and effectively promote for the industrialization – modernization of the country in the coming time.
