Workshop: “Technological capacity building by promoting enterprises linkage”

Pursuing plan approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology on September 8th 2016, The Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Internationalization Promotion organized a workshop: “Technological capacity building by promotiong enterprises linkage.”

The workshop had attendances of 100 representatives from departments of Ministries, Research Institute, Universities, Business association, other enterprises from Hanoi and neighborhood.

On behalf of the Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Internationalization Promotion (VISTIP), Mr. Bui Quy Long – General Director of VISTIP had an opening remark and chaired the workshop with Ph.D. Tran Van Binh and Ph.D. Dam Quang Vinh.

The workshop had eleven presentations from different speakers, provided many useful information and documents of matters related to building S&T capacity by promoting enterprises linkage for audiences. Some reports gave a review of the situation of technological capacity of Vietnamese enterprises, simultaneously, proposed some solutions drawn from experience lessons of other countries. The speakers of the workshop included Ph.D. Nguyen Thuong Lang – National University of Economic; Ph.D. Dam Quang Vinh, Ph.D. Tran Van Binh – Hanoi University of Science and Technology; Ph.D. Nguyen Dinh Tai – Institutes of Socio-Economic Development Studies and Enterprises Management; MA. Le Thi Khanh Van – National Agency for Science and Technology Information; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai – Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Mac Quoc Anh – Association of Small and Medium Enterprises in Hanoi.

At the end of the workshop, Mr. Bui Quy Long affirmed that the workshop was successful. He hoped that VISTIP would still be a focal point between local and foreign enterprises and support the linkage among local enterprises to be more effective.
