The training course of knowledge of international integration in science and technology

On October 17^th-18^th 2017, the Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Internationalization promotion (VISTIP) and the Department of Science and Technology in Lao Cai together organized a training course of knowledge of S&T integration. The training course was held in Lao Cai province.

The training course had the attendances of expert who would be lecturers of the course such as PhD. Nguyen Thuong Lang – The University of Economic; PhD.Trinh Thi Kim Ngoc – Institute of Human Studies, Vietnam Academy of Social Science; MSc. Bui Quy Long – The Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Internationalization Promotion and MSc. Pham Thi Hong Loan – Department of Science and Technology in Lao Cai.

The lectures mainly focused on the topic of integartion of Science and Technology inlcuding its knowledge and skills such as contents of international ecomic agreements and its impact on S&T acitivities in Vietnam; writing and presentation skills at conferences, workshops and the impact of Industrial Revolution 4.0 on activities of S&T international integration. Besides, MSc. Pham Thi Hong Loan also shared the development orientation of the Department of Science and Technology in Lao Cai as well as some regulations of S&T management.

Throughout the lecture, students will be able to grasp the specific provisions for science and technology in international economic agreements, the basic knowledge about the 4.0 industrial revolution as well as the writing and presentation skills.These are the knowledge and skills required for international integration in science and technology.

Attending the training courses were officials in charge of science and technology from the departments and localities under Lao Cai province, in particular the departments that have strong scientific and technological activities such as Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Transportation, Department of Education, Department of Construction, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Natural Resources and Environment … as well as representatives of nine districts technology, organizations and enterprises of science and technology in the province.

At the end of the training Course, MSc. Pham Thi Hong Loan and MSc. Bui Quy Long who are the representatives of the Department of Science and Technology in Lao Cai and the Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Internationalization Promotion, expressed their deep gratitude to the lecturers and the participants. Moreover, they highly appreciated extensive discussion of the training course, and hopefully shared knowledge will help students in the process of works.
