On April 23rd 2018, Ms. Bui Thi Huy Hop – Deputy director of the Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Internationalization Promotion (VISTIP) had a meeting with the delegate of Curtin University of Australia lead by PhD. Anna Parkin – Head of International Cooperation of Department of Humanities. The meeting was held at the headquater of VISTIP.
During the meeting, the two sides updated priorities of cooperation in this context, also actively discuss specific collaboration activities based on contents from the lastest working session of the two leaders, such as cooperation of deploying applied research for sustainable development; livelihoods in rural and urban areas; nutrition and health care for community…These all are strong fields of Curtin University. Especially, the models of public and privare cooperation in research and application as well as their experience and real models which link the research and demands of industry/market/enterprise were thoroughly discussed. PhD. Anna also shared some proposals of improvement in research-based training programs which she suggested to representative of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Education and Training) – one of strengths of Curtin University
